Abstract
The information of monumental trees in Taiwan was recorded in many different webpages, books and historical materials. The project plan to make a checklist of national monumental trees. Then, a database of monumental trees in Taiwan will constructed on an open plantform, letting public to search, and submit updated data in their desired way. The real time information will improve healthy management and monitoring of monumental trees. We hope the project will promote public awareness on tree protection.
