Test Methods and Standards
  1. Determinations of Pulp Properties
    Including items of 1) moisture content; 2) pulp brightness; 3) ash content; 4) pulp Canadian standard freeness; 5) fiber morphological analysis; 6) kappa number; 7) alcohol-benzene extractives; and 8) copper value etc.

  2. Determinations of paper properties
    Including items of 1) grammage (basis weight); 2) caliper; 3)burst strength; 4) moisture content; 5) Cobb’s sizing degree; 6) tensile strength; 7) brightness; 8) tear strength; 9) MIT folding endurance; 10) pH value; 11) paper density; 12) smoothness; 13) air permeability; 14) opacity; 15) surface strength (wax picking); and 16) ash content.

  3. Other special test items
    Including chemical composition of wood pulp; fiber identification; handmade shuan paper identification etc.
