Abstract
Monthly insect surveys were conducted in the Huachiang Wild Duck Nature Park. Totally 6 sites were set at the north and the south area of the Wild Duck Nature Park. Each area contains 3 types of flora: the artificial pasture, the short grass and the long grass. Diurnal insects were collected by net sweeping and nocturnal insects were collected by light traps. In first, all insects were killed to making specimens. But in second, all insects were identified and counted at sampling area. Because we try to make the volunteers to continue this survey, it is necessary to find the biological indicator and simplify the survey method. The data of this survey will be useful in habitat management and environmental education.
