This research project is intended to conduct an inventory survey on the existing production processes of domestic wood and bamboo timber, and to understand the current research status through literature collection and analysis, so as to complete the basic research on the assessment of carbon emission information and carbon sequestration efficiency of domestic wood and bamboo timber, and the carbon emission of the modification process and the carbon fixation of the modified products. In the process, we have established a method to simulate outdoor weathering with low energy consumption and low waste of domestic wood units and modified products, and to provide future testing of secondary processing and effectiveness of modularization. Synchronize the carbon emissions of domestic wood and bamboo material producers in the production and processing process to serve as a template for producers to evaluate the carbon emissions of their products and as a reference for process improvement to enhance the efficiency of primary processing of domestic bamboo materials and reduce the energy consumption of the process to enhance the benefits of carbon exchange, so as to improve the international competitiveness of domestic forest products. The research results are expected to serve as a basis for carbon emission data of domestic wood and bamboo related products, and to promote the sustainable development of a net-zero carbon emission society in Taiwan, as well as to contribute to the international community as a member of net-zero carbon emission. The project is expected to publish one article in a national journal, one article in a domestic seminar, and to develop a collaborative team with an intra-unit and inter-unit team, and to train two relevant talents during the project implementation, and to provide 10 pieces of basic data on carbon emissions from domestic wood and bamboo manufacturing processes and quality improvement processes.
