Abstract
To revitalize domestic bamboo industry and to increase bamboo utilizing, the main purpose of this project is to realize the reason why bamboo building and structures cannot be extended on domestic land, what are limited on current related norm and regulation on bamboo structures and building. Simultaneously, to enhance management will and efficiency, to ensure domestic bamboo supply for bamboo processing, to improve domestic bamboo production and marketing chain, and to increase innovative value of bamboo products, this project will analyze market potential for innovative bamboo products. The main works of this project include: 1. to explore the applicability of the existing structure and building codes on bamboo construction, 2. to establish bamboo industry chain and to analysis potential market benefits of innovative bamboo products.
