Abstract
Satoyama contains a mixture landscape of community, forest and agriculture. In addition to agricultural and forestry production, it also provides a variety of biological habitat. Satoyama Initiative focus on sustainable management in forestry and agriculture with village community autonomy to achieve balance between production and ecological systems. Satoyama ecosystems involve biodiversity, habitat and production. In recent years, Satoyama ecosystems provide a new services, forestry therapy. It contains a series of forest activity to experience the surroundings with your body senses, to feel the powerful forest energy and to develop physical and mental health. This tour designs the forest therapy activity within Satoyama area by calibration from questionnaire survey to rise environmental awareness and to promote health on the local people and the public in Taiwan.
