Abstract
The research objectives are assessing the risk of imported illegal logs and timber, and analyzing implications of foreign trade systems or regulations on our domestic timber and wood product export. In addition, by staying on top of foreign definitions of timber legality, we aim to establish a domestic timber certification system in line with international regimes for cracking down on illegal logging, regulating timber sources and promoting domestic wood supply chain systems.
