Abstract
The objectives of this study are to manage the three plantations of Schisandra arisanensis that were located at three different elevation, and to investigate and compare number of fruits among sib families. The plan also analyze major lignans from stems and leaves and select the best family to set up plantation area in the future. Results showed that the best families, which produced average 150 fruit strings from 3 sib families of DSS, WL and PJ areas, respectively. Four families from WL, SY and TF area, respectively produced average 100 fruit strings. There were 6 natural compounds were analyzed and found that these compounds levels among sib families were different significantly. The 6 compounds with levels are as follows, Arisanschinins H 103μg-730μg, Angeloylgomisin H 65μg-216μg, Kadsuphilol C 0μg-378μg, Kadsulignan D 0μg-1845μg, Kadsurin 292μg-7472μg, and Angeloyl-binankadsurin A 0μg-1409μg.
