Abstract
The aim of this study is to establish the soil management technology of Acacia confusa afforestation of short-term contract on fallow farms. We have a 0.7 ha experimental forests (fallow farms) with local farmers in Houlong and Zaociao downtowns, Maioli country. We detected the soils phys-chemical properties in the six forests (fallow farms). The results show that the soil pH value between 5.3 to 6.5, soil textures were sandy loam or clay loam. There have enough soil organic matter and available nutrients in there. The soil bulk density are higher than 1.35 Mg m-3, and the root extension will inhabited ca. 18-36 cm. We planed to (1) extension the seedling hole and, (2) build bedding by machine, (3) direct afforestation after cleaning out, conduct the three treatments descript above.
