Abstract
Some basic instrument of the ecological sensor network and hardware of this program were accomplished this year, including two sensor points and a meteorological station of Mitrastamon kanehirai at Lien-Hwa-Chih. The wireless transmission apparatus of the Lotus Pond in Taipei Botanical Garden was also renewed. Therefore, more than 100,000 data, in the JSON or CSV format, of the sensors points set up in last and this year were collected, stored, and open to the public. These data included the photos of the Lotus Pond, the photos of the flowers and phonological survey data of the floral calendar plants, the record file of frog audioscape, the identified record file of frog calls, the photos of M. kanehirai and wild animals, and meteorological data. In addition, the function increment and display of the newly set up sensor points were also completed on the Ecological sensor Display Platform. This program also completed the early stage development of frog call identification software and frog call automatic identification software. The management software of transmitting the record file of frog audioscape was also developed this year. And, hence, the problems of storing and transmitting data caused by upgrading computer operation system and electric power failure were reduced. A sketch book of “Who was benefited—the secrets of a giant forest house” and a training program were also accomplished.
