執行成果摘要
There are a cultrual experimental using the biomaterial substrates to culture the commerical tree species. The growth indicator and soil organic carbon content will be measured. The rationale of this study is to develope a boimaterial substrate that suit for tree seedling. There are obvious different among four substrates. The air filled porosity (A.F.P.) between 5 to 24%, and the higest AFP. was S3 substrate, then the container capacity (C.C.) among four substrates were 60% ca. The highest total porosity (T.P.) was S3 substrate but the highest bulk density was the S4 substrate. The pH value among four substrates from neutral to alkaline, because all sustrates were content 33% perlite and some bamboo charcoal. The S4 substrate (peat substrate) from the market sale have highest electrical condicity value (224 μS cm-1) , on ther hand the S1 substrate (composted substrate) was the lowest electrical condicity value (46.1 μS cm-1). The survivial percentage of tree seedling were higher than 90%, and the S4 substrate was 100%. The growth height of tree seedling were S2 (41.2 cm)>S4 (41.3 cm)>S1 (37.7 cm)>S3 (32.4 cm). Finially, the growth hight of tree was not affected when the 50% peat replaced to bamboo charcoal, but the growth hight of tree decreased when the peat was 100% replaced.
