In this year, 10 clones of Camellia tenuifolia were collected and 250 plants were cultivated in green house in order to investigate the growth characteristics. Drafts of the test guidelines and the table for characteristics for O. Camellia varieties were established for further modification. A new isolated net-room as supposed to be contructed by the end of this year. The design of our second isolated net-room was finished and the plan of water and soil protection was confirmed. However, the construction of the isolated net-room would not be finished by the end of this year because the public tenders were failed. The the management rules of transgenic facilities will be drafted in the near future.
