執行成果摘要
Tea seed oil is high quality cooking oil. It is cold-pressed mainly from the seeds of Camellia oleifera but also from Camellia tenuifolia, Camellia sinensis, or Camellia japonica. The goal of this project is to investigate the beneficial effects of tea seed oil using the nematode C. elegans as an in vivo model system. We propose to investigate beneficial effects including antioxidant activity, anti-aging, enhanced life span and anti-Alzheimer’s disease along with its corresponding regulatory mechanisms in a whole organism.
This project aims to achieve goals as following list:
一、Publish a manual titled "Diary of pests ocurence and control for oil camellia".
二、Publish a manual titled "Cultivation manual of Oil camellia".
三、Determination on camellia oil in antioxidant activity in vivo and utilization of effective components.
四、Publish a research paper in "Effects of Roasting Camellia tenuifolia Seeds with/without Shells on the Quality of Oil".
