1. The investigation of the moth fauna and the herbivorous caterpillars on the dominant broadleaved tree species in Taimali forest with estimation of their energy comsumptions (1/4) :
The moth collecting by light attraction had been conducted once a moth and totaly 2,241 photos of living adults of moths had been taken and uploaded to the website Flickr for future identifying. We had made 1,457 adult specimens with photos so far in this study. The primary list and database of moth fauna had been established.
2. The investigation of the moth fauna and the herbivorous caterpillars on the dominant broadleaved tree species in Fu-Shan forest with estimation of their energy comsumptions (1/4) :
This study present has completed 10 times moth light-entrap gathering and the specimen doing. The preliminary result showed that the moth species and density increased gradually from January to May in Fushan area. The species and density of moths reached as high as 210 species and 400 individual in May; on the other hand, was lowest in October with only 13 species and 19 individuals. In addition, 750 adult moth films accumulated at present, and the moth specimen doing, the phantom photography and the upload phantom and so on related work continues to carry on until the end of December.

The moth collecting by light attraction had been conducted once a moth and totaly 2,024 photos of living adults of moths had been taken and uploaded to the website Flickr for future identifying. We had made 2,466 adult specimens and 2,332 photos so far in this study. 107 species including 14 families had been identified. The primary list and database of moth fauna had been established.
4. The investigation of the moth fauna and the herbivorous caterpillars on the dominant broadleaved tree species in Heng-chun forest with estimation of their energy comsumptions (1/4) :
The moth collecting by light attraction had been conducted once a moth and totaly 1,784 photos of living adults of moths had been taken and uploaded to the website Flickr for future identifying. We had made 1,800 adult specimens so far in this study. 106 species including 16 families and 90 genus had been reared and identified which 4 species are new to Taiwan and 6 species are Taiwan new records. 303 ecological photos of larvae had been taken and also uploaded to Flickr. The primary list of caterpillars with their hostplants had been established. Some caterpillars that made their hosts with severe damage had been investigated and discussed.

The moth collecting by light attraction had been conducted once a moth and totaly 1,098 photos of living adults of moths had been taken and uploaded to the website Filickr for future identiflying. 87 species including 13 families had been identified.
