Abstract
The goal of this project mainly provides a new kind of platform for the researchers in the Taiwan Forestry Research Institute (TFRI) and its research centers. The researchers became easy to access and obtain all the cumulative relevant information through the Internet. The main works of this project include as follows: the first, to plan and establish the Cyberinfrastructure (CI) as an integrated platform to support new application and research. The second, to offer a stable and advanced platform of ecological network. The third, to promote the experience of CI establishment to other Asian countries and play a leading role on Ecoinformatics. The anticipated benefits can provide the advanced information platform for long-term ecology research network in our country. We could continue to obtain the stable reliable research original data, rapid accumulation considerable research resources for tomorrow's scientific use.
