Abstract
Plant information for 635 species and 917 photos for more than 300 plants were collected in 2010 to construct the website (hctbg.tfri.gov.tw) for Heng-Chun Tropical Botanic Garden (HCTBG). The website (qrbg.coa.gov.tw) in Council of Agriculture (CoA) was expanded, pages about Heng-Chun Tropical Botanic Garden for both personal computers and mobile devices was built.
To let tourist understand the matrix code interpretation system, HCTBG offer volunteer expositor some mobile phones as decoding devices and let them teach tourists how to use the system. Free Wi-Fi was offered to let tourists search plant information on HCTBG website, and 4 Kiosk machine was set in the garden to let people check plant information by given number for each plant.
