Selected fungicides on the market have been screened for control of the wilt of Sphaeropteris lepifera. Fungicides were first added to plate medium with cultured pathogen and the result has shown that the following were best at inhibiting the mycelia growth of the pathogen: Fluzinam, Pyraclostrobin+, Boscalid, Difenoconazole, Pyraclostrobin, Carbendazim, Pyraclostrobin+, Dithianon, Fosetyl-Al + Chlorothalonil, and Potassium hydrogen carbonate. These fungicides, along with Benomy, were used in greenhouse tests and cup-plate method tests. Dongyanshan ,Tonghou, and Nanzhuang were choosed to conduct field test of chemicals.
