The purpose of the study is to evaluate the seed oil trees which with the potential for the bio-diesel production. There are 254 trees or mixed seeds were collected on 9 tree species in 2012. The collection in 2012 which for Aleurites fordii 2 seed sets were collected in Northern Taipei; For Sapium sebiferum there are 2 seed sets which collected from Hualian county and 5 seed sets were from Chaiyi county; For Pistacia chinensis 4 seed sets were collected from Taichung city. For Calophyllum inophyllum 7 seed sets were from Taichung city, 1 mixed seeds set from Chaiyi county and 4 seed sets from Taitung county; One mixed seed set of Styrax formosana were collected from Taipinsan. The 4 energy trees of Euphorbiaceae is going to mature for a prelimlnary seed production on 4 year's planting. In order to a mass seed production a sunny and well drainage site is preferred. Grafting technique applied for seed production and for the preservation of selected provenance on those trees is confirmed. A further study on the seeding of the descendants of A. montana from Sanyi and Kunguan provenances is needed. The seed oil content of 4 energy trees were richly, but the main fatty acid components is diversely. It need a transformation or refinery before the biodiesel production. The higher value products developed form the seed oil such as cosmetics, foods, greases and paints might be more economics than biodiesel only. A further evaluation on the seed oil products for the livelihood is needed too. A big seed strain of S. sebiferum of Woocho 1 is evaluated during 4 years investigation and Woocho 2, Hualian 1 and Hualian 2 which are big seed bearing strains either. The higher seed coat wax of 40% in weight of Yangmay 1 might be a rich wax strain, but it need a confirmation.
