Abstract
The widespread of alien aquatic species is a serious problem to biodiversity. The ecosystem of the fresh water is fragile. The alien aquatic plant invanders easily reduce the diversity of the species and gene such as Taiwan. The purpose of this study is to investigate the alien aquatic plant species of Taiwan. It will compile a aquatic comprehensive list of naturalized species with background information, including origins, life forms, habits, usages, year of the first collection, and status. Relevant publications and reliable websites and many other resources. We will also evaluate the dominance of alien plant invanders in every kind of wetland vegetation by field survey. Every naturalized aquatic plants will get a danger classification level to each kind of wetland types the vegetation. These data could provid for the fresh water conversation management.
