Abstract
"(1)、Research of improvement of public participation, aboriginal traditional knowledge and terriortory in community forestry(3/4)
The research reviews literature in co-management of natural resource and develops a questionnaire to investigate the public and aborigines’ perception about co-management. We will analyze the principles to practice co-management and strengths and weaknesses of government in co-management. The results will provide suggestions to the authorities to get better conditions on forest conservation.
(2)、The overlooking the policy outcome of community forestry in Taiwan (3/3)
The study is for understand the differences of conceptions among target groups of ""Community Forestry Project"" by policy design, enforcement performance and participants’ perceptions. The survey method is used by questionnaire and in-depth interview. The results of this study will provide the references of problem analysis on community forestry project, the understanding of the discrepancies of participant communities, and the evaluation of impacts of the community forestry project."
