執行成果摘要
一、The silvicultural techniques on the seed mass production trees of valuable seed-oil species(一)The tending and fertilization on 4 year-old big fruit tanamu trees.(二)The growth investigation and fertilization on 4 year-old tallow trees.(三)The fruit production investigation on 7 year-old tanamu、tallow and candle nuts plantation.(四)Enhance the farmer to establish a seed mass production forest (gardan) 1 ha.(五)The evaluation of big fruit or high fruit production tree of tanamu plants.二、Developing technologies for woody oil analysis and value-added utilization(一)Effects of the different processing procedures on the oil part of seed extracts of Calophyllum inophyllum.(二)Active ingredient separation and analysis of Calophyllum inophyllum.三、Cultivation of ferns and analysis of active ingredients(一)Establish a standard operating procedure for spore sexual reproduction of Angiopteris somae.(二)Establish a standard operating procedure for bud vegetative reproduction of Angiopteris somae.(三)Producing plants of Angiopteris somae for resource preservation, ex situ conservation, and the analysis of the active ingredients.四、The study on the under-forest economy of Camellia formosensis(一)Continuous observation of cyclical changes in phenology.(二)Monitoring the follow-up growth status of Camellia formosensis scion garden and seed picking orchards.(三)The analysis of chemical components and anti-oxidation capacity by different attitude.五、Research on the production of wasabi healthy seeds Investigate the field growth, plant diseases and insect pests, and flowering and fruiting conditions of the wasabi cultivation area to understand the flowering and fruiting phenology of the wasabi. Seed harvesting was carried out during the pod maturity period to evaluate the seed yield per plant. After the seeds are harvested, a germination test is performed to evaluate the germination rate.六、The under-forest economy is a part of the agroforestry system. In recent years, the promotion of under-forest economy has allowed forest farmers to increase their economic income before the trees are harvested. Taiwan’s native tree species, Camellia formosensis, has been opened as a work item for underforest economy in December 2021 due to its high economic value. However, in different altitudes and microenvironments, Camellia formosensis will have different growth and physiological responses. Analyze and test the planting methods to benefit subsequent cultivators as the basis for planting. In agroforestry, in addition to properly taking care of understory crops with economic value, tall trees that can affect the microenvironment should also be taken seriously, so as to positively form a growth area that is conducive to plant growth. In fact, the operation method of agroforestry already exists. If the existing agroforestry growing areas can be used as a test field to test the growth and physiology of Camellia formosensis in different environments, it will speed up the establishment of a complete planting technology. It can also be used to discover early understory plants, management knowledge, advantages and disadvantages, and appropriately adjust operation methods in accordance with laws and regulations and ecology, so as to develop suitable agroforestry economic crops.七、Study on the Ecology and Conservation of the National Vulnerable (NVU) Plants Camellia furfuracea and Camellia nokoensis in the Red List This project will study the population ecology of the Camellia furfuracea and Camellia nokoensis. Under the condition that species are protected, we will develop the availability of local plant resources to present local characteristics, and activate the economy of the mountain village.八、Cinnamomum osmophloeum leaves are rich in essential oils, including cinnamaldehyde. As the essential oil composition and concentration of each clone vary throughout the year, the optimal harvesting period will also be different. If the essential oil compositions need to be confirmed, the laboratory analysis is often necessary. But it is impractical for most farmers. This project hopes to establish the key time of optimal harvest period by using the field observations of leaf phenology and in turn improve the industrial value of C. osmophloeum.九、Micropropagation of Camellia sinensis(一)Establish a surface sterilization process using mature stems as the material of Camellia sinensis.(二)Investigate growth of shoot induction, proliferation and elongation.(三)Test rooting culture conditions for acclimatization.
