Abstract
The self-sufficiency rate of timber in Taiwan is now below 1%. The long-term lack of tending operations in the forest has caused degradation of the forest phase. The prohibition of logging policy has resulted in the failure of forestry talents, technology, and backwardness of machinery, and the forest industry has declined. People have the wrong concept of not cutting down the forest. The main themes are forestry resources, marketing promotion, and local revitalization. Use forest products to promote the forest industry. Introduce the elements of local revitalization into the environmental education model. Promote and educate the public on the correct concept of sustainable forestry development. Promote the environmental functional benefits of domestic wood utilization and the carbon storage function of wood utilization.The public's willingness to use wood has increased. Completion of the investigation and analysis results of local creative resources with forestry characteristics and analysis of the status of forestry environmental education promotion.
