Abstract
The project investigates and analyzes how to promote the production and sale of domestically produced timber and the culture of the main and by-products of forests in Taiwan. First, the promotion of domestically produced timber production and sale is focused on the current status of private forest management, the difficulties faced, the need for assistance and future planning, as well as the awareness of the restrictions imposed by the relevant laws and regulations in recent years and whether they affect the subsequent management planning of forest land, in order to understand the potential of domestic private forests for forest production. Second, the cultural research on forest by-products is conducted through literature collection and site visits to compile and list the types and regional distribution of forest by-products resources and the current production status in Taiwan.
