House of Ecological Education

Introduction

The “House of Ecological Education” of the Lienhuachih Research Center is a multifunction arena for ecological education having facilities of audiovisual classroom, conference room, seminar room, library, exhibition room, volunteer duty room and boarding house. The primary purposes of construction this building are not only for strengthening ecological commentary and letting people close to and understanding forests but also for proving food, logging and network services for researchers who come here for research and investigation. The center attempts to achieve its environment as a friendly and convenient location for long term research, night observation activities and visiting and outdoors educations for other institutes or universities though those utilities and services.


The “House of Ecological Education” is a three-story“ㄇ”shape splendid architecture located at northern part of the administrative building of the Lienhuachih Research Center. The construction of this house was initiated at 2004 and opened at December 2007. The budget of build was provided annually and the main body construction and interior decoration tasks were carried out successively and successfully from the beginning year. The first floor is designed as stepped audiovisual classroom (including computers, projection displays, DVD players, broadcasting system and other audio-visual equipments). The second floor is conference room (including computers, projectors, and broadcasting system equipment), seminar room, library, boarding houses. The third floor is exhibition room, volunteer duty room and boarding houses.
