Introduction
Before entering the Fu-Shan Botanical Garden, taking a quick stop at the Nature Center is the best way to increase Fu-Shan related knowledge. The Nature Center has several exhibits which, using a combination of lively words and pictures allow visitors to experience and understand plant diversity, forest stories and the stream ecology of Ha-Pen stream. Using animal excrement models, visitors are taught how to be animal identification detectives.
In addition to the exhitis, the visitor experience is further enhanced by watching the regularly shown film:"A Rain and Mist Forest: Fu-Shan Botanical Garden". The film immerses visitors in the sounds and scenery of Fu-Shan environment, depicting the beauty of the Fu-shan Botanical Garden ecology. Also, the Nature Center features a ‘Voice Theater’ which plays the sounds and voices of the the many wild animals of Fu-Shan. Both features are highly recommended.
