This paper reports a new record of the genus Polystichum (Dryopteridaceae) from Taiwan:
Polystichum pseudoxiphophyllum Ching ex H.S. Kung, a species previously known only from
China. In addition to providing basic taxonomic information, morphological descriptions, and a
key to distinguish it from closely related species, this study also presents photographs, geographic
distribution data, habitat characteristics, an assessment of conservation status, and relevant
taxonomic notes.
