Abstract
The aim of this project is to conduct the diffusion technology of treemedicine. That includs developing technology sets (the integration of tree health check technology and creation of an application suite), certifying body (the collaboration of Park and Street Lights Office, Taipei City Government and Taiwan Tree Conservation Co, Ltd in conducting business feasibility assessment of the above technology sets) and a business verification system (a platform that assesses business feasibility of tree-medicine related technology). There are three major strategies in achieves these goals: carrying out a pilot project (Park and Street Lights Office, Taipei City Government and Taiwan Tree Conservation Co, Ltd working together to select ten-thousand trees in twelve areas as a demonstration of the above technology sets), founding an incubation center (the Center for Trees Arboriculture (CTA) in Taiwan Forestry Research Institute (TFRI) serving as an incubation base to provide four training classes) and initiating technological diffusion (transferring the technology sets to landscape architects and tree protection professionals).
