Abstract
This research project is intended to conduct an inventory survey of existing domestic timber production processes, and to understand the current research situation through literature collection and analysis, in order to complete the assessment of carbon emission information and carbon sequestration benefits of domestic timber, as well as the basic research on carbon emissions from the texturizing process and carbon fixation by texturized products, and in the process, to establish a low-energy-consuming, low-waste unit of domestic timber and a test method for the accelerated weathering simulation of outdoor weathering by texturized products, and to provide future modularized secondary processing utilization and effectiveness tests. In the process, we have established a test method for accelerated weathering simulation of outdoor weathering for low energy consumption and low waste domestic wood units and modified products, and provided a test method for the utilization and effectiveness of future modular secondary processing. Synchronize the understanding of carbon emissions in the production and processing process of relevant domestic wood-based material manufacturers, as a template for manufacturers to evaluate the carbon emissions of products and as a reference for process improvement to enhance the efficiency of primary processing of domestic timber, reduce the energy consumption of the manufacturing process to enhance the benefits of carbon sinks, in order to improve the international competitiveness of domestic forest products. The results of this research are expected to serve as the basic data for the carbon emissions of domestic wood products, to promote the sustainable development of Taiwan's net-zero-carbon emission society, and to contribute to the net-zero-carbon emission of Taiwan's membership in the international community. This project is expected to publish one article in a domestic seminar, develop a team with the unit, cultivate two related talents during the implementation of the project, and produce 10 pieces of basic data on the carbon emissions of domestic wood production processes and quality modification processes.
